Creative LED Desk Lamp

Inspiration can always be found in nature. Indeed, nature is perfect, and artists often look for ideas just by observing natural phenomena. Inspiration can be powerful ocean waves, bright sun, majestic mountains, or things that are always around us, such as grass or a drop of water. Maybe it was a sunny morning after a brief shower that inspired the American designer Victor Vetterlein to design a desk lamp.
At first glance, this lamp is like five pencils or sticks stuck in the stand. However, this composition is not an ordinary one. It has other possibilities.

Body Art a Way to Express Yourself

Wariors’ paint before the hunt or battle, colorful images applied on the body before the rites – all of this can be classified as body art. For many centuries, body art was a manifestation of human feelings, emotions and beliefs, thanks to this it remained relevant art form even today.

Animals Made of Dumped Cars

Once the cars are dumped on a landfill, they do not die, they gain a second life – in another life form. To be more precise – in the form of cows or bulls. At least that is what is happening in Finland, where the artist and designer creates a giant metal cow from its antiquated coachwork. Helsinki-based sculptor Miina Äkkijyrkkä’s sculptures are immense. She purchases dozens of used vehicles from dealers around Finland and uses the colorful scraps to form these towering bovines that at times look coincidentally like an At At from Star Wars. She not only attended art school, she also spent a year studying at the Dairy Farming School. Äkkijyrkkä’s artwork reflects her academic history, with an added dash of mechanic chic.
